Am I Registered?

Not registered, or moved?

Regular registration has closed, but grace period registration runs Oct 7 through Election Day. Register in person and vote at the same time at any early voting site (see above). On Election Day, same-day registration is available at every polling place.

  • U.S. citizen, 18 by Nov 3
  • Lived in your precinct at least 30 days before Election Day
  • Bring two IDs, one showing your current name and address

Vote by Mail

Request a ballot

Any registered voter may vote by mail, no reason needed. Applications sent by mail must reach the Clerk by Thursday, Oct 29. You can also apply in person at the Clerk's Office through Monday, Nov 2. Don't wait.

  • Drop box: Official Ballot Drop Box near the west entrance of the Courthouse (Liberty St.), by 7:00 p.m. Nov 3
  • In person: hand-deliver to the County Clerk's Office by 7:00 p.m. Nov 3
  • By mail: postmarked no later than Nov 3

Sign the certification envelope. If someone else returns it for you, the affidavit on the envelope must be completed.

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3

Polls are open 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Election Day you vote at your assigned precinct polling place.
